Verdi Home Improvements Limited hereby offers the following guarantee terms in relation to this installation.
All installation warranty claims must be submitted to our service department within 30 days of installation
Thank you for installing our product please ensure the product has been maintained in line with the maintenance guide accompanying this guarantee
Frames
Window, door and conservatory roof frames are guaranteed against defective workmanship and/or defective materials for a period of 10 years stating from installation completion date.
Woodgrain conservatory roof components are guaranteed against material defects and delamination for a period for 5 years starting from the installation date.
Moving Parts
Locks, handles and other moving parts are guaranteed against defective workmanship and/or materials for a period of 1 year starting from the installation completion date.
Please note: window and door furniture can tarnish when exposed to the atmosphere. This tarnishing can happen quicker if the surface is damaged by keys, rings or other jewellery – if this kind of damage is obvious, the guarantee will become invalid.
Sealed Glazed Units
Sealed units are guaranteed against defective workmanship and/or defective materials for a period of 5 years starting from the installation completion date.
Conservatory Bases
Conservatory bases are guaranteed against defective workmanship only for a period of 10 years starting from the installation completion date.
Door Slabs / Panels
Door slabs are covered against defective materials and/or workmanship for a period of 5 years post installation.
Woodgrain door panels are guaranteed against defective materials and delamination for a period of 5 years.
Wall / Roof Coatings
Wall and roof coatings are guaranteed against defective workmanship and/or defective materials for a period of 10 years starting from the installation completion date. The guarantee covers the functionality and performance of the external wall or roof coatings by creating an invisible insulation barrier that reduces water absorption for the duration of the guarantee period. The guarantee covers the functionality and performance of the product against surface breakdown.
Roof & Roof Trim Products
EPDM roofs, verandas, fascias, soffits, bargeboards and guttering are guaranteed against defective workmanship and/or defective materials for a period of 10 years starting from the installation completion date.
Electrical / Plumbing / Plastering
Electrical, plumbing and/or plastering work is guaranteed against defective workmanship and/or materials for a period of 1 year starting from the installation completion date.
Silicone
Silicone is guaranteed against defective workmanship and/or materials, including discolouration for a period of 12 months starting from the installation completion date.
This guarantee will only apply if the instructions within the information pack provided are followed.
Please note the following exclusions apply:
- This guarantee does not cover any accidental or wilful damage (including glass breakage), blockages, wear and tear, misuse of the product, negligence by the consumer or any third party, or any faults associated with condensation.
- This guarantee does not cover any problem associated with the penetration of insects, misting and mould growth.
- This guarantee does not cover any problem in the event that (i) the consumer fails to adequately maintain the product or misuses the product (see maintenance guide online for details, upon request copies are available in print); (ii) any alterations or attempted repairs are carried out by the consumer or any other third party; (iii) the problem is no notified to us promptly.
- The prevention of green / organic growth or anything else that could form on the surface of any products are not covered under the terms of this guarantee.
- This guarantee does not cover the subsequent breaking of tiles or brickwork / render following the application of the product through manipulation or physical interference.
- The coating is a thermally insulated barrier and is not designed to be walked on or manipulated in any way.
- This guarantee does not cover the use of any abrasive or cleaning products.
- This guarantee does not cover any damage caused through any subsequent alterations to the property including but not limited to solar panels, satellite aerials and security lights.
- ‘Acts of God’ including but not limited to adverse weather conditions that supersede our countries accepted normal.
- Amendments and alterations whereby damage is caused to the integrity of the product for example in the fitment of blinds or curtain tracks voids this guarantee and any remedial works carried out subsequently will be at our discretion.
Our total liability to you under the terms of this guarantee is limited o the repair or replacement (at our sole discretion) of the affected materials. Our liability to you for any other losses you may suffer is excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. If upon inspection the problem is not covered under our guarantee you will be liable for a callout fee plus material costs. If this is not paid within 14 days we reserve the right to terminate our guarantee.
Our call out fee is £185 and is payable as an upfront cost on any works required outside of the terms of this guarantee. We reserve the right to refuse service calls outside of those covered under the terms listed herewith or in the instance that risk is posed to our members of staff due to inappropriate, abusive or threatening behaviour.
This guarantee should be retained and kept in a safe place for future reference; it is for the benefit of the contract holder at the above property and is non-transferable.
